     SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE 1

          WEEKEND REFLECTION _ 4th

INTRODUCTION

Induction training is a support process for beginning teachers to teach them basic knowledge, skills, and values related with teaching and make them socialize with their profession.

EVENTS OF THIS WEEK

This is my 4th week of teaching practice.

It's ongoing with rich of experiences and memories.

On Monday I got a class to teach first batch of plus one commerce.so I taught them the concept of partnership . Then did my college works during the break time . Then Tuesday I had no class. So at that day we the B.ed trainees conducted a quiz competition based on Republic day.and planned for Conscientization programme .prepared notice for that and invite principal and other teachers to that programme.wednady was a holiday .then Thursday consentization program was conducted.Then on Friday I conducted a diagnostic test for the second batch students . And helped our Accountancy teacher for doing his muster roll works .Saturday we got leave from the school 🏫🙂🙂

This is all about that week.🙂🙂

REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRTION

 Republic Day is a national holiday in India . when the country marks and celebrates the date on which the Constituition of India came into effect on 26, January 1950, replacing the Government of India Act(1935) as the governing document of India and thus, turning the nation into a newly formed republic  The day also marks the transition of India from an autonomous common wealth with British Monarch as nominal head of the Indian to a fully sovereign republic  in the common wealth of the Nations with the president of india as the nominal head of the ind

ian union.

   On 25/01/2022 we conducted a quiz competition in plus one commerce class.All students were participated in this competition .

In this quiz competition Jithin got first prize and Kailas got Second prize.🙂🙂🙂

  We gave them gifts as token of appreciation.

      Topic : “Say No To Suicide “ .

 

 

INTRODUCTION

 

Conscientization is a popular education and social concept developed by Brazilian educational theorist Paulo Freire. It includes taking action against the oppressive elements in one’s life that are illuminated by understanding.

The English term Conscientization is a translation of the Portuguese term conscientizaeao, which  is also translated as” consciousness raising” and critical consciousness. The term was popularized by Brazilian educator, activist and theorist Paulo Freire in his 1970 work Pedagogue’s of the oppressed.

                         Conscientization is defined as “learning to perceive social,  political and economic contradiction and to take action against the oppressive elements of reality.

                  Freire believes that part of the purpose of education is to help children develop the ability” to ask good questions .” It help us in our journey towards liberation and freedom through intellectual curiosity.

                  Freire’s educational idea which offer most important contribution to understanding educational practices and discusses their relevance to education and development.

        As part of our B. Ed curriculum we have to organize a Conscientization programme. We the teacher trainees of M.E.A.C.T B.ed  training College Manjappara conducted a Conscientization programme during the teaching practice in the school Govt.H.S.S, Anchal West .The programme was held  on the topic “Say No To Suicide ”. The programme was conducted on 27- 01-2022.
