DAY 5 - FIELD TRIP

 FIELD TRIP - DAY 5 OF COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP 

A field trip is visit to a place away from the normal place of study. The purpose of the trip is usually observation fir education, non- experimental research or to provide students with experiences outside their everyday activities.

As part of the community living camp ,we the second year students of MEACT and teachers planned for a field trip. There were so many suggestions regarding the date and place for the trip. Finally we decided to make visit to sambranikodi and kollam beach.

 The trip was conducted on 15 th June 2022. There were around all students from English, commerce, Malayalam, social science , physical science and Natural science optional.

 

We reached the destination at 10.00 a.m . currently ,sambranikodi is one of the most popular tourist attractions in kollam district. It offers a breath taking view of waterways fringed by lush mangroves.

Then we move on to our next desty point Kollam  Beach ⛱️🏖️

Day 4 community living camp

 COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP - 4 th DAY 

After the morning assembly we were engaged in yoga practice . Then we were going to make awareness against drug abuse in nearby shops of MEACT, Collage campus . 

In lunch good committee provided ghee rice and chiken curry. 

After the media reporting cultural committee perform their performances. 

After the cultural programme mock parliament was conducted . At last camp evaluation and validatory section .

In this validatory section all students and teachers evaluates the camp and shrir their experiences in front of all.

DAY -3 community living camp

 COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP - 3rd DAY 

As usual the first section was morning assembly. After the morning assembly yoga section was conducted , in this section laiju sir gave us an awareness about yoga and gave us the directions to do it. After the yoga section , under ther supervision of Nikhil sir a workshop on glass painting was conducted. 

Then in the lunch committee veg biriyani was provided to all.

On third day under the supervision of Nikhil sir ( Asst. Prof.in arts and aesthetics) a workshop was conducted on glass painting 🖌️🎨..

2nd DAY OF COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP

 COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP - 2nd DAY 

After the assembly session , the members of each committee go for a field trip work based on the topic " career goal setting in rural students " under the supervision of Mr. Suresh sir . through this, students collected data and in the evening session ,Suresh sir and each group members gave detailed explanation regarding the field work.aftee the field work we engaged in the gardening and beautification of collage campus. We plant trees and clean the campus compound. Then we engaged in sports and games .

For lunch, chiken biriyani was provide to All.

The cultural committee performed several activities .

Then media reporting was started and media committee prepared a newspaper which included all the events in that day in a comic manner .

The last section of CLP was mock parliament . In this section each group leaders can point out their good activities and praise them .

On the second day of community living camp  under the supervision of Suresh sir a field work was conducted based on the topic " career goal setting in rural students " .

          COMMUNITY LIVING  CAMP REPORT2022 

                                    11-15 JUNE 2022

Community living camp is a joint camp of student teacher and their teacher educators ina convenient location keeping certain formalities and following a well planned timetable , learning to live together cooperatively by participating in programmes, participating for the development of personal and social skills, practicing democratic living, providing chances for division of work, community works etc which are the aims of the camp.

       MEACT, B.ED training college's community living camp or the academic year 2022 conducted from 11th to 15 th December was based on the theme " The role of social work in personality Development ". 

In the first day of "NIHARIKA " community living camp all students and teachers were arrived the campus compound at sharp 8.40 .after the morning assembly, the programmes started with the inaugural session.After the prayer of Jwala, Anupa from the cultural commitee welcomed the gathering .Miss Shyma Beevi , principal stressed on the benefits of the community living camp and shared their ideas as man as a social animal." NIHARIKA" was inaugurated by ulloor award winner Dr. S Harikrishna,light the lamp .

The next session was the technical session and for that we assembled in the general hall.the seminar was based on " personality Development" .The class was handled by Dr.Hari Krishnan sir .

After the seminar session , we go for a tea break .The next programme was newspaper publication inauguration which is inaugurated by Mrm Sunil Sir by publishing the first day's newspaper.Then there was some cultural activities presented by the cultural committee.atlast programme wind up with the mock parliament.

So that i could perform some programs on the stage ...like dance. , Songs 

SENT OFF CEREMONY OF SHARATH SIR

On 6 th June 2022 we conducted a  programme for our beloved Sharath sir. It was an emotional day for us. He is one of my favourite teachers. Due to some personal matters he left from our campus.

        It was conducted as a formal functions.teachers and students share their experiences with the sir.and gave him wishes for his future career.

  World environmental day is the biggest international day for the environment. Led by the United Nations Environment Programme, and held annually since 1973, it has grown to be the largest global platform for environmental outreach. It is celebrated by millions of people across the world.

World Environment Day 2022 is hosted by Sweden. “Only One Earth" is the campaign slogan, with the focus on “Living Sustainably in Harmony with Nature”. 

On 6th June our campus also celebrated it. We plant trees in our campus ground.
