 INTRODUCTION

Induction training is a support process for beginning teachers to teach them basic knowledge, skills, and values related with teaching and make them socialize with their profession.

EVENTS OF THIS WEEK

This was my third week in school. It is ongoing with full of new experiences.

On 25 th July I got 5 th period and teach  the students about what are the importance of planning ..then Tuesday discussed about limitations and next day discussed the topic steps involved in planning ...at the weekend day I discussed the last portion of planning chapter that's is the types of planning ..

ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS PROGRAMME

 On 29th July the scout and guide unit of Gov.HSS school has conducted a road safety awareness class. The scout and guides prepares posters and make awareness among the public about road safety.we the teaching trainees also takes part of this programme.

CONCLUSION

Totally ,this week was good and gave me a new experience ..my teaching practice ongoing with much of new experiences and knowledge. I feel very happy 🙂🙂🙂

               2 ND WEEK REFLECTION 

INTRODUCTION

EVENTS OF THIS WEEK

Now we are in our teaching practice as part of the B.ed curriculum and today the 2 nd week end. This week was also good and gave us new experiences .. Now am comfortable with the staff teachers and school environment.

In this week we did gardening in our school and helped the teaching staffs in their minor works..and got a lot of experiences.

DAILY EXPERIENCES

On 18 th July I got 5 th period and i took the class of Nature of management ,that's is management as an art and management as science . Then Tuesday I got 3 Rd period and took the class of management- effectiveness v/s efficiency. Then management objectives are discussed in Wednesday 6 th hour . Then on thurday the last portion of first chapter is discussed.and in Friday the new chapter planning was started and discussed the meaning and features of planning ..

I got new experiences from this second week.I used more learning aids to make class more interesting..☀️☀️

INTRODUCTION

As part of the B.ed curriculum we have to take teaching practice . So for it I got the permission for GOV .HSS .Anchal west school. Teaching traing make us professional ones and give a rich of experiences .

ABOUT THE SCHOOL🏫

GOVERNMENT HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL ANCHAL WEST was established in 1932 and it is managed by the Department of Education. It is located in Rural area. It is located in ANCHAL block of KOLLAM district of Kerala. The school consists of Grades from 5 to 12. The school is Co-educational and it doesn't have an attached pre-primary section. The school is Not Applicable in nature and is not using school building as a shift-school. Malayalam is the medium of instructions in this school. This school is approachable by all weather road. In this school academic session starts in April.
         The school has Government building. It has got 31 classrooms for instructional purposes. All the classrooms are in good condition. It has 2 other rooms for non-teaching activities. The school has a separate room for Head master/Teacher. The school has Partial boundary wall. The school has have electric connection. The source of Drinking Water in the school is Well and it is functional. The school has 13 boys toilet and it is functional. and 15 girls toilet and it is functional. The school has no playground. The school has a library and has 810 books in its library. The school does not need ramp for disabled children to access classrooms. The school has 51 computers for teaching and learning purposes and all are functional. The school is having a computer aided learning lab. The school is Provided and Prepared in School Premises providing mid-day meal.

 

PRE- PLANNING 

For the teaching practice we were planned a lot . First we have a critisism class section in our college . Which is critisised  by our peers and teachers . It helps us to make improvements . Then we selected a school and approached the school for getting permission . Fortunately Me and my friend sreelakshmi git permission from the GOVT.HSS Anchal west school authority. Teachers gave us the portions to teach .I was assigned to take Business studies in plus one class .After getting the permission lesson plans were prepared and checked out by our principal Shyma Miss . Then Activity card ,charts ,vedios,work sheets were prepared .

USUAL EVENTS IN SCHOOL🏫

Time schedule of the school is from 9am to 4.30 pm.. Each period has one hour. Commerce batch has only one batch including malayalam and hindi students.

FIRST DAY IN SCHOOL 

 On 11th July 2022 I reached Govt HSS Anchal west school at 9.00 with the letter from our campus. I was submitted the letter and register to the Principal and he gave us the guidelines to follow . Then arranged sitting place in staffroom.it is a new experience for us . So it made us nervous and uncomfortable.

       So in first day ,7 th period we were going to class and saw the familiar faces . There is no need to introduce ourselves.  . Students are good and co-operate with us ...here we starts our new journey of second phase teaching. ...🧑‍🏫

 

DAILY EXPERIENCES 

 

 On 11th January I got 7th period . at that date I did my course works and interact with the staffs .me also helped the political sir in his test paper duty to monitor the students .In the same day helped the Malayalm teacher in arranging conduct certificate s of students in alphabetical order.  first day i introduce the first chapter " Nature and significance of Management" and discussed the first topic " Meaning and features of Management".. Second day i got 7 th period and i took  the concept of importance of management.. Then third day i got fourth period and took the class of functions of management ,at that day there was a PERUNNAL virunn which is coordinated by the staff committee.  fourth day discuss the topic levels of management and friday took the concept Nature of management and specifically management as profession.

First week of our teaching practice gave me a good experience in teaching field. Since my childhood I would like to become a teacher. Eventhough it's a teaching practice but I enjoyed it a lot. And pray to be a good teacher who can influence the students .🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
