STAND AGAINST DRUG ABUSE

26th June is observed as International Day against Drug abuse and illicit Trafficking often referred to as the International Day against drug abuse. It is to strengthen global action and cooperation to achieve the goal of an international society free of drug abuse. Observance of this day aims to raise awareness the substance abuse as well as the unlawful trade of drugs .

As part of the day our Commerce club 'Muskianz' has been conducted a quiz completion based on some guidelines.

In this competition  the first prize won by Ramkesh from department of English.

For congratulating him our club gave him 101 Rs of cash award and a certificate of achievement .

Second prize of quiz competition has  won by Ameena Ansarudeen.we gave her a cash award of Rs 51 and and a certificate of achievement.

 

The commerce association successfully coordinated the programme with the cooperation of all it's members.Especially our one of members Sreelakshmi took her time for making posters and certificates.we all are appreaciating her of the efforts. Google from is prepared by Aswathi. So the members also congratulating her. All members are contributed to the selection of apt  question.

         INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA 

The International Day of Yoga has been celebrated annually on June 21 since 2015, following its inception in the United  Nation's general assembly  in 2014.Yoga is a physical, mental  and spiritual practice  which originated in india.The Indian Prime Minister ,Narendra Modi, in his UN address in 2014, had suggested the date of 21 June, as it is the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and shares a special significance in many parts of the world.

As per the Yoga day celebration commerce association also conducted the programme.All of our members created a vedio of doing yoga Asanas and posted in our collage group.

WORLD MUSIC DAY

 World Music Day or Fete de la Musique is a unique annual celebration of music, which takes place on June 21. It is also known as Music Day or Make Music Day. On this day, usually young and amateur musicians are encouraged to perform. World Music Day allows anyone to play their favourite instruments in neighbourhood parks and open spaces for people to enjoy. Music lovers organize free concerts and other musical events. 

         

 As part of the world music day celebration Commerce association created a Vedio.All the members participated in this vedio creation.

READING DAY

Libraries are key to the development of a society . As gateway to knowledge and culture, libraries play a fundamental role. They create opportunities for learning support literacy and education and help shape the new ideas and perspectives that are central to a creative and innovative society. 

As part of the reading day celebration conducted in our collage  I visited a nearby library and took a vedio from the library. Then create a vedio and post on the collage group. 

Then we the commerce association conducted a webinar on reading day. We invited Ratheesh sir Head of the department, commerce ,Nilamel college.

It was a nice section .His class was very interesting and motivating . We really enjoyed the class.🙂

COMMERCE ASSOCIATION INAUGURATION -

  

                           " MUSKIANZ"

 Our Commerce Association has been formally inaugurated on June 19 as part of the reading day celebration . The Association is named as " MUSKIANZ"  which is inaugurated by Ratheesh sir HOD of commerce, NSS collage Nilamel.  We selected Subin as the secretary of our club.we are planning  to conduct somany programmes under our association ..so we hope it can be done 

ANEMIA AWARENESS CLASS

 

 Anemia Online Awareness Class June 16, 2021 Online Awareness class on Anemia has been conducted by Women and Child Department ICDS Chadayamangalam for students of Marthoma College Chadayamangalam and Manjappara BEd college students. The awareness programme conducted on 16/06/2021 at 3 pm was very informative and useful. The active participation of students made the programme a great success. 

WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY

 WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY - MAY 8 

World No Tobacco Day is observed around the world every year on 31 st may. This yearly celebration informs the public on the dangerous of using tobacco ,the business practices of tobacco companies, what the world Health Organization ( WHO) is doing to fight against the use of tobacco and what people around the world can do to claim their right to health and healthy living and to protect future generation.

 As part of this day celebration ,we the commerce association conducted a poster making competition on June 8 . We all the members participated in this competition..

I was also participating in this competition . This is the poster that I was making .

The first prize of poster making competition is won by Ayisha Rani . We all were  congratulating her and gave the wishes.

World environment day is celebrated annually on 5 the June and is the United Nation's Principal vehicle for encouraging awareness and action for the protection of the environment.

             The theme for world environment day 2021 is " ecosystem Restoration" and Pakistan will be the global host for the day.

      

 On that day commerce association of our campus " Muskianz" has been conducted an elocution competition in our department. On that programmes fortunately I won the first prize. So I was very happy ...and it's my pleasure to contribute from my side. 

  

OPEN DISCUSSION-

           IMPACT OF BLOODY POLITICS 

 Abhimanyu was a student activist stabbed to death in Maharajas College, Ernakulam on July 2, 2018.He was a student of BSc Chemistry. He was murdered by Campus Front of India, the students wing of Popular Front of India.

Commerce Association conducted a open discussion on June 2 nd based on the topic " impact of bloody politics ". The whole is invited on the discussion. Most the students were participated on the meet and share their valuable points and ideas.  We were successfully coordinated this programme .🙂
